May 06 2006, Istanbul / TURKEY “FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF FOCUH” The first General Assembly of FOCUH was held. Members Saadet GÜNER, Prof. Doc. Mehmet ÖZDOĞAN, Nadire Mine YAR, Jale VELİBEYOĞLU, Celaleddin KÜÇÜK were elected to the Board of the Directors.


May 2006, Istanbul / TURKEY: “CONTRIBITION THE POLICY – OPINION NOTE” Upon request by European Union General Secretariat (EUSG), Ankara / TURKEY  during the preparation phase of the “Negotiating Position Paper” of Turkey-EU Membership Process, an opinion note on the chapter “26) Education and Culture” was prepared.


May 18 2006, The Hague / The NETHERLANDS “MEMBERSHIP TO THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTIONS – EUROPA NOSTRA”: FOCUH was selected as “Institutional Member ” of the pan-European Federation for Cultural Heritage (Europa Nostra).
